Our Mandate

Rural Animal Management Services (RAMS) provides animal control and by-law enforcement solutions to rural communities in Manitoba. RAMS is designated by specific municipalities to enforce Animal Control By-laws.

Animal Control Officers

Animal Control Officers are specially trained personnel whose role it is to uphold and enforce local animal control by-laws. ACO's investigate citizens' complaints and concerns regarding domestic and livestock animals. They issue warnings and citations to owners and impound lost, stray and dangerous animals.
